Buzloo is an independently operated humor and entertainment website based in Belgium. The data controller for this website is Buzloo. For privacy questions or requests, email info@buzloo.com.
Buzloo publishes humor articles and visual content. Some illustrations are AI-generated and are presented as entertainment.
Information we process
When you visit the site, the hosting, security, and site services may process technical information needed to deliver and protect it, such as your IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, referring page, and request time.
If you email us, we process the details and any information you choose to include so we can respond. If you use a reaction on an article, we process the selected reaction and the related article so the reaction feature can display and maintain its result. You do not need an account to browse or react. Buzloo does not currently offer user registration, comments, or a newsletter.
How and why we use information
- Operate and secure the website: to deliver pages, prevent abuse, troubleshoot faults, and protect the service. This is based on our legitimate interests in operating a secure website.
- Article reactions: to provide the reaction feature and show its results, based on our legitimate interest in operating that feature.
- Respond to messages: to handle your request and follow up where necessary.
- Optional statistics: Jetpack Stats is configured to run only after you consent to statistics cookies. It helps us understand site visits and performance.
- Consent choices: Complianz stores and applies your cookie choices so the site can respect them.
Service providers and sharing
Buzloo uses Bluehost for website hosting and Automattic’s Jetpack Stats for optional traffic statistics. These providers process information to supply their services and under their own privacy information. Complianz manages the consent banner and related privacy choices. MonsterInsights is installed, but it is not connected to a Google Analytics property and is not currently sending data to Google Analytics.
Article pages may offer links to share content through services such as Facebook, WhatsApp, or Pinterest. Those services receive information only when you choose to follow or use their links; their own privacy terms then apply. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies, statistics, and advertising
Essential storage supports site functions and your privacy choices. Optional statistics technologies are used only after consent. Jetpack Stats may process the page visited, referring page, timestamp, browser details, IP address, language, and approximate country. Buzloo does not currently display Google AdSense or other advertising. If advertising is introduced, we will update this notice and the Cookie Policy before enabling it. Google and its advertising partners may then use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, subject to applicable consent choices. International processing
Some service providers may process information in countries outside the European Economic Area. Where a provider transfers personal information outside the EEA, Buzloo must ensure that the transfer is covered by the mechanism and safeguards required by applicable data-protection law. How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including website security and legal obligations. Complianz consent choices are currently retained for up to 365 days. Automattic states that identifiable Jetpack Stats logs are retained for 28 days. We retain messages for as long as needed to respond and manage the correspondence. Technical hosting logs and article-reaction records follow the relevant provider or site-system retention settings and are removed when no longer needed for operation, security, or legal purposes.
Your choices and rights
You can refuse optional cookies or change your consent later using the controls in the cookie banner or Cookie Policy. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing, receive a copy of your information, or withdraw consent. Children
Buzloo is a general-audience entertainment website and does not offer child accounts or knowingly request personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us personal information can contact us at info@buzloo.com.
