Cookie Policy

Last updated: November 6, 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage used on Buzloo. The data controller is Buzloo, an independently operated website based in Belgium. For questions, contact info@buzloo.com.

What cookies do

Cookies are small files saved by your browser. Similar technologies can store preferences or help a website and its features work. Buzloo uses essential cookies for privacy choices and core site functions, and statistics technologies only when you consent.

Cookies and services currently used

Consent preferences

Complianz stores your privacy choices and whether the consent banner has been dismissed. These functional cookies may include cmplz_functional, cmplz_statistics, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_marketing, cmplz_consented_services, cmplz_policy_id, and cmplz_banner-status. The current configuration retains these choices for up to 365 days.

WordPress site functions

WordPress may use a session cookie such as wpEmojiSettingsSupports to check browser support for site features. Separate interface cookies may be used when an authorized editor or administrator is signed in; they support the administration interface and are not used to track ordinary visitors.

Site statistics

Jetpack Stats, provided by Automattic, is active. It counts page views and related traffic information only after the visitor gives statistics consent. Jetpack may process the visited page, referring page, timestamp, browser details, IP address, language, and approximate country. Automattic says identifiable Stats logs are retained for 28 days. Jetpack Stats privacy information.

MonsterInsights is installed, but it is not connected to a Google Analytics property. Its integration is configured to wait for consent; it is not currently being used to send data to Google Analytics.

Advertising

Buzloo does not currently display Google AdSense or other advertising. We do not currently use advertising cookies. If advertising is added, this policy and the consent choices will be updated before ads are enabled.

Consent and your choices

The Complianz consent banner lets you accept or refuse optional categories and change your choice later. Jetpack Stats and MonsterInsights are configured as consent-gated integrations. You can reopen your choice using the control below. Your browser also lets you delete or block cookies, although blocking essential cookies may affect site functions.

Automated scan limits

Complianz’s automated scan completed on November 6, 2026 and covers the homepage. Cookie use can vary by page, browser, consent choice, and interaction. A scan can identify cookies but does not by itself prove that every optional script is blocked before consent. We will review this policy when site services change and before enabling advertising.

Google advertising information

If Google advertising is enabled in the future, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads. Visitors can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings or learn about opting out of some participating providers at aboutads.info. Before serving personalized ads in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, Google requires a Google-certified CMP integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. This requirement will be checked before ads launch.
